The Collective

Tape Death is an Australia based collective of beatsmiths on the vanguard of tomorrow’s Hip-Hop.  Together we have accumulated decades of production experience in Hip-Hop, as well as Dub-Step, Glitch-Hop, Drum ‘n Bass, Wonky and Experimental. We have releases on a multitude of labels on a range of mediums, from digital releases and internationally distributed CDs, to 7″ vinyls. We have toured nationally and regularly have tunes on radio rotation.

We use Tape Death as a creative hub to release our music, collaborate, and contribute to the music making community through the release of sample packs, tutorials and guides. We are effectively a group of friends who are passionate about music.
